The design of the “Tomahook” goes back to the influence of the Celts, Vikings and Indians. Thanks to its versatility, it has a very high level of functionality.
The Tomahook can be used as a very efficient hatchet with its broad and sharp cutting edge. The upper end of the ax head is sharpened as a chisel. You could even skin a deer, or use it in an emergency situation. The ability to engage the handle directly and securely behind the cutting edge, enables detailed cutting. Likewise, this recess can also be used as a hook. The back of the ax head has a rounded point of impact, that can be used as a glass breaker.
The special design of the Kydex sheath allows the axe to be covered for many working and cutting applications. The recessed G-10 scales are not only very safe, but comfortable. The best SK5 carbon steel is used with a corrosion resistant black coating.
